To aid in your Recovery Reset, let’s take a look at the body. The whole body

So many things going on today that we deal with. IBS, Hormone imbalances like PCOS, too much or too little testosterone, losing or thinning hair. even brain fog.

Do you feel lost?

We try everything that’s trending. Well, a quick fix or sit down and do the reading and get hands on? Fix it or put a band aid over it and hope the issue goes away? I know people who have ulcers and continue to do the same thing that upsets the ulcers. They go to the doctor and get a “band aid” then end up right back there a few weeks later.

Whole body health is long term care. A lifestyle change.

Let’s stop here for a moment and say this out loud while putting your hands on your hip like you mean business. don’t force it just say it with conviction (even if you don’t believe it).

“I love my body. I deserve a healthy life inside and out”.

Now nod in acknowledgement!

I eat decently healthy. I try to follow the way of eastern philosophies of, eating until you are 80% full, my plate is mostly veggies and grain at 80% with 20% meat, exercise mindfulness of tasting my food and actually chewing it versus inhaling it. Every now and then I get a craving and will indulge in junk food.

I LOOOVE Chocolate cake and mouse cakes and…….

I had to change the way I eat after I had an incident when I was 16. When you’re a younger person you can get away with eating all kinds of junk and as much junk as your growing body can take. An endless pit. I used to eat cup-o noodles, top ramen, drink soda, eat chips and candy bars. All of it. One day I had a severe stomach cramp that would not go away. I couldn’t scrunch my body or get into any position that would eliminate this feeling. I wasn’t constipated. What the Bleep was going on? I cried. I never cry. I can take scrapes and cuts. Well not this. I ended up in the E.R with an inflamed pancreas. How did that happen?

Anatomy lesson. Your pancreas is an organ located in the abdomen that is needed to help breakdown food and process insulin in your body. It helps regulate your blood sugar. If it can’t function, you’re going to have some issues.

I was treated and told to change the way I eat. I have seen friends of mine become diabetic at 15 years old and go on blood thinners because all they drank was Coke and Dr. Pepper (straight carbonated sugar and corn syrup). They drank so much soda and ate so much sugar that their blood essentially started to thicken like syrup. The body couldn’t process it all and it went straight into the blood stream. Can you imagine your blood turning into syrup?

You can flush out your body with a healthy diet and herbal remedies.

I began studying herbalism and once upon a time, I took Intro courses at the AIMC in Berkely CA.

I am an outdoorsy person. I climb trees, hike and kayak. I am also an ex-athlete in my younger days. I played basketball, softball, and during spirit week powderpuff flag football (supposed to be non-contact but let me tell you, it becomes a contact sport regardless) all through middle school, high school, and some co-ed adult leagues. I have sports injuries.

I have seen a minor League football player rupture his Achilles Tendon because he didn’t stretch. Before the game even began, he turned to walk off the field and just like a loud “snap; pop” and down to the ground he went. Deep life changing injuries that happen so suddenly.

There are also parts of body that get stuck and need help in moving our clogged system to be drained. This is the lymphatic system. This is where your glands get full of fluid and toxins that the body just can’t drain. Your throat feels sore (clogged Lymph), your pectorals feel sore (clogged Lymph), Your groin area (thighs and knees) feel sore (clogged lymph). Here you need to massage the body and get the chi of life flowing again. Your blood, plasma, fluids need to be properly filtered and expelled.

The organs get backed up. Your liver is a filter that can get backed up and can’t properly function. Here you are with severe acne, inflammation, maybe even a high protein count. all of this shows in your skin, you eye, and your tongue. You look and feel bloated, heavy, retaining fluids. You are making yourself sick. You can combat this by practicing body movements, lymphatic drainage massages, going to see and acupressurist.
